Wellington Hall Academy Late Pick Up Policy 

            After careful consideration, the school has found it necessary to have a policy in place for the late pick up of students.  Our school day has been extended this year by the inclusion of a study hall period which lasts until 4:30 pm.  It is expected that all children will have been picked up by 4:45 pm so that staff may close the building.

            After 4:45 pm, a fee of $1 per minute will be charged and is payable at the time of pick up.  It would also be appreciated if you would call the school to let us know if you are delayed.  Staff members have their own children and activities to attend and may need to be able to make alternate arrangements for their families when you are late.  We appreciate your co-operation in this matter.

The school is currently accepting applications for the school year, commencing September 2010.

An Open house will be held in early May, for new and prospective families.

Hello Everyone,

 Just to inform you that our Korean Exchange students will be finishing school, February 26th, 2010.

It has been a fabulous time for both groups of children, and many memories and friendships formed.

We wish the girls a safe trip home and look forward to hearing from them in the future.

Hello Everyone,

This is exciting new to inform you that commencing in fall, Wellington Hall Academy will be adding new programs to our current curriculum.

These programs include:

• weekly drama classes  
• weekly dance classes
• study hall

Current classes include

• spelling, grammar, novel study, French, mathematic, computers, gym, choir, music, art, health, life skills, current events, science, history, geography, writing, handwriting, journal, and off course everyones favourite time-recess! 

To provide these classes to our already enriched program school will be commencing by 8:30 am and finishing tentatively at this point around 4:30pm.
